Rickmers replaces senior execs following decline

Ron Widdows, CEO of German Rickmers Group, will step down on Thursday, says the company on the same day it publishes an annual report showing a significant decline.

After just two years as the head of German Rickmers Group and Ricmers Line, CEO Ron Widdows will step down on Thursday.

This announcement comes on the same day the company published its annual report for 2013, which shows a significant decline across all parameters, with a net result after taxes of EUR 15 million, down from EUR 22.5 million in 2012. Revenue and operating profit (EBITDA) came to EUR 578.6 million and EUR 191.8 million, respectively, compared to EUR 618.3 million and EUR 244.4 million the year before.
