Milaha takes a dive in the 2nd quarter

Qatar-based shipping and offshore conglomerate Milaha experienced a decline in the second quarter 2014, though the group still achieved a USD 142 million profit, according to data submitted to the Qatar Stock Exchange.

Qatar Navigation, which goes by the name Milaha, experienced a decline in the second quarter of 2014, the company informs the Qatar Stock Exchange, landing a profit of USD 142 million (QAR 518.29 million) compared to USD 157 million (QAR 573.75 million) in the same period last year.

The company's profit per share came to USD 1.25 on June 30th 2014 compared to USD 1.38 in the same period 2013, says Milaha without commenting further on which factors have influenced developments at the company.
