"Damco is part of Services & Other Shipping, a strategic core business in Maersk Group. When Maersk disclosed its 2. quarter financial results, Group CEO Nils Smedegaard Andersen expressed confidence that the current restructuring of Damco will lead to better results," says Maersk in an email to ShippingWatch as a comment on many container carriers' decisions to divest their logistics businesses.
