Danske Bank: Growing profit and acquisitions at DFDS

Danske Bank increases its forecast for DFDS, as the company demonstrated that it can handle major transactions, credit analysts Brian Børsting tells Shippingwatch.

Danske Bank has increased its forecast for DFDS following the shipping and logistics group's solid performance in the 2nd quarter.

The upgrade constitutes one notch on the bank's rating scale, to a so-called BBB-/S rating from BB+/Positive, and represents a growing confidence in a rising DFDS profit in spite of the current uncertainty in the Baltic Sea in relation to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
