5,000 shipping people to Denmark in October

The organizers behind the week-long Danish Maritime Days event expect around 5,000 participants. The key event, Danish Maritime Forum, has so far received registrations from 33 countries.

The maritime industries are by nature global, and the organizers behind Danish Maritime Days hope that this fact will be reflected in the 5,000 attendees expected to participate in the event that is held for the first time in the second week of October.

"Danish Maritime Days is a global event. We're spending a lot energy on marketing the event internationally, and we've put a lot effort into ensuring that the themes of the 50 events held during the week have a broad view and that they touch on global affairs," says head of the secretariat Johannah Christensen.
