Clarksons: Danish ship register tops global growth rankings

Danish International Ship Register accounts for the fastest growth among the major flag registers in 2014. In addition to Maersk Line's Triple-E ships, this development is caused by a broad influx of new tonnage.

The combined fleet under DIS, Danish International Ship Register, grew 12 percent in the first eight months of 2014. This represents the highest growth rate among the world's 20 major flag states, according to new numbers from Clarksons, World Fleet Monitor, September 2014.
