Boskalis made USD 516 million in 2014

Offshore and salvage carrier Boskalis delivered net results of USD 516 million in 2014. A solid year across all activities, says the company and points to a mixed offshore market in 2015.

Dutch Boskalis, whose competitors include the Maersk Group's towage and salvage company Svitzer, achieved a net result of USD 516 million in 2014, a 34 percent increase from USD 385 million in the previous year.

The company's revenue also grew in this period, although just by one percent to USD 3.37 billion, from USD 3.27 billion in 2013, according to Boskalis' annual report Monday.
