
Statoil And Statkraft announced yesterday that they are investing USD 2.43 billion in building the offshore wind farm Dudgeon off the coast of Britain, and the project now results in an order for two Dutch firms.
Royal Boskalis announces that VSMC, its strategic cable-laying joint venture with VolkerWessels, has been awarded a contract by Dudgeon Offshore Wind for a total contract value of EUR 110 million. Prospects for the farm have dwindled to 400 megawatts from the original 560 megawatts.
