Sovcomflot in black in 2014

The big Russian national carrier Sovcomflot achieved positive results in 2014 in an improved tanker market and and took delivery of newbuildings.

Russia's major state-owned carrier Sovcomflot was successful in turning a deficit into a profit in 2014.

The carrier exited 2014 with a revenue of USD 1.38 billion, an increase of 9.9 percent from USD 1.26 billion in 2013. The result grew as well and was more than USD 100 million bigger, landing at USD 83.9 million in 2014, a significant improvement from a deficit of USD 39.2 million in 2013.
