Esvagt delivers record-profit in tough offshore market

The offshore carrier Esvagt, which Maersk may be on its way out of, had a 2014 with growth in both profits and revenue. Management is pleased with the result and expects to deliver at the same level this year.

The Danish offshore carrier Esvagt, with business in the North Sea, grew in 2014.

Revenue in the carrier grew in 2014 to USD 135.7 million, an increase from USD 127.2 million in 2013. Meanwhile, the earnings grew to USD 36.3 million in 2014, from USD 36 million in 2013.
