Denmark preparing new maritime growth plan

The Danish government has reviewed the maritime growth plan that was launched in 2012, and ShippingWatch has learned that the government is also preparing a new and ambitious plan aimed at securing growth in the maritime cluster over the next ten years.


Denmark's government is preparing a new growth plan for the maritime cluster with the ambitious goal of ensuring an ideal framework for the country's carriers, offshore sector and suppliers over the next ten years.

ShippingWatch has learned that a meeting was held on February 5th at the Danish Ministry for Business and Growth, at which the results so far of maritime growth plan from December 2012 were reveiwed. And Minister for Business and Growth, Henrik Sass Larsen, can now cross off a majority of the initiatives on the list.
