Iran will likely release the seafarers on board Maersk Tigris - who have been detained since April 28th along with the ship - in two days, says a spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs according to news agency AP. However, this will be done on the condition that Maersk pays a fine related to an old case concerning unclaimed cargo.
"The case is purely legal," says spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham according to AP.
