EU maritime strategy not ready until 2017

The maritime sector will be at the bottom of the list when the EU Commissioner of Transport, Violeta Bulc, prepares the plans for the various transport platforms over the next few years.


The major European shipping industry must wait a couple of years before receiving any certainty on how the EU Commission will prioritize the sector. The EU Transport Commissioner Violeta Bulc has just presented her plan for how the different strategies in her main areas of responsibility will be presented. The maritime industry is last in line.
