Evergas-owner in Chinese deal for USD 900 million

The Luxembourg-based investment company Jaccar, which also owns Danish Evergas, has signed a letter of intent for huge funding of gas vessels during the Chinese Prime Minister's visit in France.

Jaccar Holdings, which also owns the Danish gas carrier Evergas, has signed a so-called memorandum of understanding with Chinese ICBC Leasing for financing for a number of gas vessels.

The deal is for USD 900 million and was signed during the visit of Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang in France, the parties write in a statement Thursday.
