Flares force DFDS to discontinue Channel ferries

Danish DFDS has discontinued its ferry services between France and the UK after a ferry was hit by flares.

The Danish carrier DFDS Seaways is canceling all departures between Calais in France and Dover in the UK until Tuesday, after one of the company's ferries has been fired at with emergency flares.
