The UK enters race to secure optimal framework conditions

Great Britain is now entering what looks like a North European race to ensure optimal framework conditions, with growth teams and a UK government that "will pull out all the stops" to maintain the British maritime cluster.

The UK is now ready to introduce measures aimed at making it more attractive for shipping companies to do business in the region. In the past month, Denmark, Sweden and most recently Norway have made announcements pointing to revised framework conditions, and after 465 vessels have exited the British ship register in the period 2010 o 2014, the country is now ready to act.
