Intermarine adds six new ships to its orderbook

Intermarine has ordered six new multipurpose vessels from Chinese shipbuilders. The ships are part of the carrier's comprehensive fleet renewal program which already counts orders for 15 vessels.

US-based project and heavy-lift carrier Intermarine, LCC, has now added another six large vessels to the company's already significant orderbook, informs the carrier in a press release.

The new order is for six so-called Ecofleet F900 multipurpose vessels of 13,300 dwt each, which will be built at shipyards Hudong and Wenchong in China. The ships will have a lifting capacity of up to 900 tons.
