EU earmarks six bln euros for maritime growth

The European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF), under the EU Commission, has earmarked EUR 5.75 billion for maritime growth.

The funding will be used to implement the EU's Integrated Maritime Policy (IMP) by financing projects that can create new jobs and improve life along European coasts, informs the EU Commission in a statement.
