Cosco will radically overhaul shipping alliances

The recently merged China Cosco Shipping Corporation is in the midst of negotiations with French container carrier CMA CGM for an alliance which is also courting Taiwan's Evergreen as well as Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) from Hong Kong. If these four end up in a new alliance, the move would decimate the existing alliances in O3, CKYHE and G6, reports China Daily.
