Maersk Line expands bridge equipment order from Wärtsilä

Yet more integrated Nacos Platinum bridge systems will be installed on the Maersk fleet when the container carrier expands its existing order of Nacos Platinum systems from Wärtsilä to 47 units, which integrate navigation, automation, and propulsion monitoring in one system.

Maersk Line is now acting on its strategy to achieve synergy effects by ordering another 20 Nacos Platinum bridge systems from Finnish supplier Wärtsilä. With the latest order, Maersk Line has now ordered a total of 47 systems, which will be installed on its newbuildings over the coming years, according to a press release from Wärtsilä.
