Maersk maintains strategy in spite of oil strain

The Maersk Group has no intention of changing its strategy. In spite of the current challenges with the oil price and freight rates, the conglomerate will stay on its current course, says Maersk Chairman Michael Pram Rasmussen.

Denmark's Maersk Group will maintain its strategy in spite of the declining oil prices and weakening freight rates.

The conglomerate held its annual general assembly this Tuesday in Copenhagen, at which Maersk Group Chairman Michael Pram Rasmussen ensured the shareholders that senior management is not backing down.
