Weak Norwegian currency improves Color Line operating result

The strong Danish currency and the weak Norwegian currency helped Color Line achieve an operating result at the group level which was USD 12 million better than in the previous year. CEO Henrik Renneberg is optimistic about 2016.

The low oil price played a part in securing an improved operating result at one of North Europe's largest passenger and cruise carriers, Norway's Color Line. Because the dramatic decline in the oil price dragged the Norwegian currency down with it in 2015 and made it more interesting for other populations, not least the Danes, to vacation in Norway. This benefited the carrier, according to a statement from Color Line.
