Suez Canal slashing toll prices for container carriers

The Suez Canal is slashing prices in an attempt to encourage more container carriers to use the waterway. The move could be a response to the imminent opening of the expanded Panama Canal.

In an attempt to encourage more carriers to use the busy waterway, the Suez Canal is now granting significant toll reductions for vessels departing from key European ports.
