Uggla could get no further as Maersk Chief Exec

With his departure from Svitzer, Robert Maersk Uggla has in effect also shelved the opportunity of a career as Chief Executive at some of the Maersk Group's biggest carriers, and ultimately as Maersk Group CEO, note sources familiar with the matter.

When Robert Maersk Uggla on September 1st 2016 takes over as CEO of the A.P. Møller Foundation's holding and investment company, the move will in effect mark his departure from a career path within the conglomerate's plethora of companies.
