Shipowners want to map out potential for CO2 reduction

The Danish Shipowners' Association wants to analyze the opportunities in Danish shipping to reduce CO2 emissions and contribute to decreasing the global carbon footprint. Lack of necessary data, notes the association.

In spite of the fact that shipping as an industry was not directly included in the final climate accord from COP21 in Paris last year, it remains certain that the sector, along with every other part of the worldwide economy, must contribute in reducing the global climate footprint.
