Media: Søren Skou will step down as Maersk Line CEO after new strategy

A farewell to the position as Maersk Line CEO is part of the plan for Søren Skou when the Maersk Group has completed the conglomerate's strategic review, provided the group structure remains, the current CEO of both Maersk Group and Maersk Line tells Lloyd's List.

At the moment, Søren Skou serves as CEO of Maersk Line as well as for the whole Maersk Group. He was awarded the latter title this June when Nils Smedegaard Andersen was dismissed as Chief Executive and a strategic review was announced for all of Maersk.
