DSV Panalpina and Vestas enter major transport deal

DSV Panalpina and Vestas enter a new partnership, in which DSV will handle all the wind turbine manufacturer's transport.

DSV Panalpina has entered a new strategic partnership with wind turbine manufacturer Vestas on freight handling and transport projects for the latter, the parties inform in a joint statement.

According to Danish business daily Børsen, the deal is worth DKK billions and entails that DSV will handle all transport for the wind energy firm going forward. Moreover, the deal is said to initially run for three years with an option to extend by two years.
