Scan Global buys Spanish logistics company

Danish freight forwarder Scan Global Logistics continues to grow and now buys yet another company – this time a Spanish, family-owned business.

Danish freight forwarder Scan Global Logistics (SGL) has been out shopping and is now taking over a Spanish freight forwarder with a 43-year pedigree.

The businesses in question is family-owned firm Grupo Contenosa, which along with Scan Global's Spanish unit seeks to create a new big player in the domestic freight-forwarding market, the company writes in a statement.
