Agility had its eyes set on both Uti and Panalpina before billion-dollar sale to DSV

Agility first looked to join forces with Uti and later Panalpina, but was outbid by DSV on both occasions. Now the Danish logistics major is buying the Kuwaiti company's logistics business. ShippingWatch talks to Agility's vice chair about the long-term goal of the transaction.

Agility and DSV Panalpina have more than once had the same exact merger targets in mind in recent years, but the Danish company always ended up drawing the longest straw.
