NTG's CEO of Air & Ocean reflects on chaotic year in logistics: "We've all been in the same boat"

2021 became quite an extraordinary year for the logistics market. Chaos in supply chains has spurred a new kind of cooperation in the industry, says NTG's CEO of Air & Ocean, Søren Holck Pape, in an interview with ShippingWatch. "It's been hard on both sides of the table."

The latest 12 months have seen the most strained logistics market on record, with a major shortage of ships and containers having sent rates skyward and prompted major delays throughout global supply chains.

For large Danish logistics company NTG, the extensive challenges have naturally created a busier environment than ever before, but the company's CEO of Air & Ocean, Søren Holck Pape, also point out "positive surprises" for logistics in the year 2021.
