Maersk Container Industry expects third consecutive profit in 2021

Following a strategic revision with factory closures and layoffs, Maersk Container Industry generated a profit in 2020, the second year in a row. This year, too, is expected to produce black figures from the container factory, the future of which Maersk is currently considering.

Maersk affiliate Maersk Container Industry (MCI) expects to land its third profit in a row in 2021 in the wake of a significant strategic transformation that required costly factory closures and layoffs.
