Here are the pictures from the Danish Maritime Forum's first day

The first day of the Danish Maritime Forum featured an opening speech by the IMO's general secretary, a visit from Danish royalty and shipping industry representatives from across the globe.

At last year's Danish Maritime Forum, the secretary general of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) Koji Seikimizu rounded off the event when he delivered one of the closing speeches. This year, he opened the event as one of the first guests to take the stage (left).

The moderator was Dr Chris Luebkeman, Global Director at the US branch of consulting firm Arup. Here he is pictured with CEOs from the Panama Canal and the Suez Canal.
