EU revises CO2 emission figures following error
Total CO2 emissions by ships calling at European ports in 2018 were more than 18 million tons lower than the EU Commission and EMSA first reported when they released the so-called MRV system earlier this week.
Greenhouse gas emissions by vessels sailing in European waters in 2018 were over 18 million tons lower than first reported by the EU Commission and European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA).
