EU threatens 35 billion euros in tariffs on US goods

If the US imposes tariffs on European cars and auto parts, the EU is prepared to respond with EUR 35 billion in tariffs on US goods. Previously, the EU threatened to impose EUR 20 billion in tariffs.

The EU is prepared to introduce tariffs on US goods totaling EUR 35 billion if the US president, Donald Trump, carries out his threats to impose tariffs on European cars and auto parts, informed EU Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström Tuesday, according to Bloomberg News.
