IMO postpones more meetings due to virus outbreak

Even more IMO meetings, including one in its safety committee, are postponed due to the global virus outbreak that, among other things, has been a hindrance to travel activity for delegates.

Several meetings under the UN's International Maritime Organization (IMO) are now postponed because of the outbreak of covid-19.

Among the postponed meetings is one among the IMO's Maritime Safety Committee (MSC), which was scheduled to take place May 13-22, the IMO writes.
