A myriad of projects are working toward the ultimate goal: A climate-neutral ship

The Getting to Zero coalition has mapped projects across the globe, all of which are working toward solutions to create climate-neutral shipping. The number of ammonia projects is one of the surprises revealed by the mapping, says Kasper Søgaard, head of research for Global Maritime Forum.

The idea was originally proposed by Michael Parker.

The banker from Citi, who has been one of the driving forces behind major banks' climate requirements for the shipping sector, had noticed how every week stories were reported on new projects aimed at finding the much-wanted solutions to help make shipping climate neutral.
