Wärtsilä CEO calls for urgent political action to decarbonize shipping

The implementation of necessary rules to reduce CO2 emissions in shipping is an urgent matter, argued Wärtsilä CEO Håkan Agnevall at virtual conference Sea20, adding that the coming 12 to 24 months must see significant progress.

Wärtsilä is one of the co-organizers of the conference, held regularly in a number of port cities every few weeks.
