French oil and energy company TotalEnergies hasn’t been paying attention, writes climate researcher Tristan Smith in a sharp criticism of the French company, which last week publicized its expectations for the future consumption of fuel in shipping.
”I wasn’t expecting Total Energies report ’the drive for cleaner marine fuels’ to be particularly ambitious or enlightened. But was still shocked at how backwards this publication is,” writes Smith, associate professor at University College London, on LinkedIn.
