P&O accused of violating law with mass layoffs

Like labor unions and lawyers, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson accuses P&O Ferries of having broken the law when the carrier last week slashed 800 jobs without prior notice. Government and labor unions prepare legal action.

Ferry operator P&O Ferries violated British legislation when the carrier last week sacked 800 staff without notice in order to bring in a cheaper workforce instead.
