Shipping sector has eight months to comply with Russia oil sanctions

As part of a newly decided sanctions package, the EU pursues a ban on importing Russia oil. According to EU Council president, new measures will impact a ”huge source” in the funding of Russia’s ”war machine” – and marine transport is central in a field where the war in Ukraine has already changed the market.
