Shipping companies employ familiar tools to prepare for new climate regulation

CII: The shipping companies are not inventing new measures to prepare their fleets for new climate demands. One player, however, has a different approach than the others, which are using familiar tools. Euronav, Wallenius Wilhelmsen, Norden, Golden Ocean, and MPC Container Ships share their methods.

Most carriers are in the process of trimming their fleets in order to – from the turn of the year at the latest – comply with the new climate demands in the CII regulation, but most carriers have not come up with anything new.
