German shipowners consider sector-wide survey after assault case

The German Shipowners’ Association has previously denied investigating the scope of harassments, but will now consider doing so following an incident aboard a German vessel.

German shipping companies are contemplating whether to investigate the scope of possible sexual harassments in the national sector that counts more than 7,000 seafarers.
