Iran sends warship to conflict-ridden strait following US sinking of Houthi ships

A US attack on Houthi-controlled ships is now prompting Iran to send a warship to the Red Sea. This could increase tensions in the area and complicate safe shipping for the world’s shipping companies.

Iran is now sending a warship towards the still troubled Red Sea strait in response to the US sinking three ships controlled by the Houthis over the weekend, Bloomberg reports.
