Denmark bans discharge of water from scrubbers

The Danish government has gathered a large political majority on an agreement to put an end to scrubber water pollution.

It will be prohibited to discharge wastewater from scrubbers within 12 nautical miles of the Danish coasts from July 1, 2025.
