Boskalis expects tough 2018 and 2019

Dutch marine and towage group Boskalis expects a tough market for the next two years. The company was able to stay in the black in 2017 following a large impairment in 2016.

There will be few jobs available to towage and offshore carriers in the next two years, says Boskalis in its annual report for 2017.

The Dutch towage and marine services group notes that "the next two years will be characterized by continued lower volumes of work and pressure on both utilization levels and margins."
