
The risk of a trade war between the US and China is still simmering after the US announced Tuesday that it will introduce tariffs totaling upwards of USD 50 billion on Chinese imports.
The US also said it could introduce restrictions on Chinese investments in the US as well as export monitoring of goods sent from China, reports news agency Reuters on the basis of a White House statement.
