Svitzer & Rolls-Royce in new collaboration with UK port operator

The UK's largest port operator has entered a deal with Svitzer and Rolls-Royce to develop new technological solutions. Dynamic positioning systems are one of the technologies to be rolled out.

The two major companies Rolls-Royce & Svitzer, which have both worked with driverless vessels in recent years, have entered a new collaboration with Associated British Ports (ABP).

Together with the two companies, the major UK port operator plans "to develop the innovative technologies and systems needed to operate efficiently and sustainably well into the 21 century."
