Wärtsilä and BW LPG expand retrofit agreement for VLGCs

The Finnish supplier has completed engine testing of an LPG fuel system, and the test was so successful that a retrofit deal with BW LPG is now being extended from four to eight vessels.

Wärtsilä and BW LPG are so pleased with the test of a system that injects LPG as fuel that the parties are now expanding a retrofit agreement from including four vessels to now including eight vessels, writes Wärtsilä in a press release Friday.
