300 laid-off Wärtsilä employees could be rehired
Finnish Wärtsilä has launched a plan to lay off 700 employees globally in its marine division. But close to half could end up being rehired, the company tells ShippingWatch.
A big part of the employees being laid off at Finland's Wärtsilä as part of changes to the marine division can look forward to being rehired by the supplier, says Atte Palomäki, executive VP of communications, branding and marketing, to ShippingWatch.
