The EU Commission has yet again decided to halt its in-depth scrutiny of the merger between South Korean yards Hyundai Heavy Industries and Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, DSME, reports Reuters.
This happens as the EU antitrust regulators are awaiting further information from the yards, due to, among other factors, the coronavirus having delayed answers and information from some of the companies that need to be heard in the process.
